“It is exciting to know we, of Emmaus, are in a
position to become a tiny hot spot on the map of the world related to the future
of the children and young adults reported in the Press today to be turning over
to the UN Peace Keepers the arms which they have been using in the civil war for
and against the prior corrupt government of their country. Some day you or your
children may even visit this country knowing that you have played a role in the
education of its children and the stability of the nation.”
